Yesterday your favorite GOODe family made our way to the Indiana State Fair for a big announcement and A LOT of family food and fun!
We were the State Fair’s Go Hog Wild Indiana YouTube Contest Finalists and we won!
Winning was only half the fun though…
We got to hang out with all sorts of State Fair celebrities :)
Like Indiana State Fair Queen Denae Pyle. Now I have never met a queen before, but let me tell you… this queen does the fair up right. She was having a ball and making sure everyone around her was too. You can just tell she is the perfect gal for the job.
She and Miss Add were fast friends!
On our way over to the parade, Miss Add got a special unexpected surprise. She got to meet Buttercup!
And RAN to Red Gold’s Stewie…
She knows how much her mama hearts Red Gold ;)
Let’s just say Miss Add gave her mama a run for her money in that department…
Miss Add was on a quest though… a quest to meet Porkchop…
But first we needed to hop on the fire truck to ride in the parade as the contest finalists :)
Miss Add was a natural at the waving :)
And we were followed by a very special tomato :)
The parade was definitely a blast to be a part of!
By the end, Miss Add was ready to see her Porkchop!
After the parade, we headed over to the Pork Tent for the big award, a showing of the video and some YUMMY pork burgers.
Miss Add ran up and gave Indiana Pork Executive Director Mike Platt a big ole hug.
Then Miss Add got the news… Porkchop was on his way!!!
He arrived!
She was sooo excited.
From that point forward no one existed EXCEPT Porkchop… just sayin’
Porkchop helped the State Fair, Indiana Pork and the State Fair Queen present us with the award.
Then Porkchop and Miss Add boogied down to our Hog Wild video :)
Then we mauwed down on some yummy grub. Puddie had the famous Garbage Burger and Miss Add and I had the Pork Burgers… I have hearted pork burgers since I was a kid…. so YUMMY!
Big thanks to the Indiana State Fair, Indiana Pork, the Indiana State Fair Queen and Porkchop for such a great time and all the GOODe memories!

oh man. I seriously want some pulled pork right now. I've got a beef roast in the crockpot - was going to do french dips, but may have to do bbq beef instead.
