Making friends is easy... when you give them cookies ;)

This past week I spent several lovely days and nights in Asheville, NC at the Type A Parent Conference. Type A was my second bloggy/social media conference and it was fantastic.

I whipped up a batch of these Butterscotch cookies from my Real Farmwives In the Kitchen series where I am baking my way through 10 recipes of Sweet & Simple to help make some new friends ;)  This is recipe #4 --I believe.

Here is the recipe if you ever find yourself in need of some friend making ;) These work perfectly... just sayin'

Anyhoo... I have to say that the lead up to this conference was MUCH different for me than it was prior to Blissdom ya know, when I was SCARED. TO. DEATH.

I was far more laid back before Type A, which had a lot to do with amazing and welcoming experience I had a Blissdom and also because I knew that some of my Blissdom buds were going to be there...

Like Michelle

And Bernice :)

That and my Real Farmwives pal Heather was also coming and going to be my roomie!

Laid back was very much the theme of Type A for me.

There were plenty of outstanding sessions and information that I will definitely be processing and utilizing in the coming months as GOODEness Gracious gets her make-over and design overhaul.

But, much like Blissdom, some of the best takeaways are the relationships you build with all of the amazing bloggers that I am blessed to call friends.

4 GOODe Thoughts:

It was nice to meet you at Type A, but I didn't get one of those cookies. Dang. Now I TOTALLY want one, too. YUM! :)

Those cookies look like they are to die for:) I've only been to a couple of blogging events myself and totally love them. Looking forward to BlogHer in August, are you going to that?

YOU SOOOOO ROCK! I had a blast with you and all the posse. Those cookies, by the way, added another 10 pounds to my already large ASS! Do send the receipe... ;) The pictures were hysterical. I wish I was the right now virgin bumping, and shoveling cookies down with Ovaltine and Sweet Tea. Keep in touch! I love this Blog Hop stuff! xxoo

I want to try those yummy cookies! The picture shows that you had a great time. :)

♥hugs♥
