Savory Muffins: Quiche Muffins

Yesterday I shared with you about my Broccoli Cheddar Muffins and today I am continuing that series with these yummy Quiche Muffins altered from a recipe that Gooseberry Patch shared on Fox 28 a while back.

Truth be told, these yummy little babies remind me a lot of one of family favorites: Ham and Cheese Cups.

Now... remember that I was baking three different muffins at a time...

I totally spaced taking pictures of me spraying my muffin tin with oil

***

I also spaced taking pictures of me placing the small biscuits in 10 of the muffin cups...

***

And pressing them down into the cups...

***

Nor did I take a picture of mixing the eggs with the softened cream cheese until smooth

***

Now somewhere around this point I woke up and realized that I am a food blogger after all and I grabbed my camera and caught the rest of the action...

I poured my egg mixture 3/4 of the way up in the 10 cups... and added salt and pepper

Then I added crumbled bacon on top.

Say cheese!

Now bake up at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes until set.

Now, I am fairly confident these will freeze well, since the ham and cheese cups did well. However, you simply MUST try one of these straight from the oven... absolutely delish!

Click on the card to print the recipe only.

Note: I plan to share my third (or technically fourth) savory muffin over at Pennies and Blessings real soon: Zesty Chicken Salsa Muffins :)

Goode & Gooseberry Project: Crunchy Bacon-Cheese Dip

Several weeks ago, I served up this Goode & Gooseberry Patch Project Recipe: Crunchy Bacon-Cheese Dip at a meeting.

You can't go wrong with bacon, now can you?

You start my frying up a pound of bacon until crisp and then crumble.

Now set aside and dump 4 Cups of Shredded Cheddar into a mixing bowl...
You determine the sharpness of your cheese...I realize that is a very personal decision... just sayin'

Add 2 Cups Miracle Whip

1 chopped onion

Pound your frustrations out on 1/2 cup cashews

Now toss them in and the bacon too!

Now mix 'er up

And place inside a hollowed out Hawaiian loaf

And serve with remaining bread.

Your guests will love this dish with the cashew surprise!

Goode & Gooseberry Project: Quick Mini Sausage Wraps

Want to have an easy peasy appetizer ready to be whipped up at any time?

Quick, go stock up on some cocktail weenies and bacon and keep 'em in the fridge and check your pantry and make sure you keep some brown sugar in there.

Now if you're Puddie, you'd giggle that I said "weenies" and I'd roll my eyes at you.

Anyhoo, he'll thank me and my weenies when company calls this holiday season and they show up all hungry and stuff, I have all I need for some tasty little treats-- Quick Mini Sausage Wraps-- tonight's Goode & Gooseberry Patch Project recipe.

Truth be told me and my FREEZE-O-RAMA bloggy pals gobbled up a batch of these dudes on our big day. (Psst... you can still enter to win a Pampered Chef MicroCooker in honor of our day!)

Anyhoo... back to the bacon... Cut 'er in thirds

Now create your assembly line. Dump out some toothpicks, put your weenies in a bowl and line up your bacon.

Now wrap your sausage in a piece of bacon

Secure with a toothpick

And repeat... over and over and over and over again

True story... I dumped out EXACTLY the right number of toothpicks to bundle up my wraps.

That's right, I'm just that GOODe...just sayin' ;)

Now pop your little bundles of joy on a shallow baking dish and sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar.

Now bake up at 350 degrees for around an hour until the bacon is done.

Tah Dah!

Goode & Gooseberry Project: Zesty Brunch Quiche

Miss Add calls this Goode & Gooseberry Patch Project recipe "Morning Pizza".

It is otherwise known as Zesty Brunch Quiche.

You start with a frozen pie crust...

Now my Mother-in-law makes the best from scratch pie crust ever...

Me?

I make Pillsbury...just sayin'

Add 1 Cup of Shredded Cheese

And crumble up 4 slices of bacon... I was out of "real" bacon after making my Zesty Bacon Spread, so I opted for some turkey bacon. (Also note, I was making a double batch to freeze one up ;) )

Now slice up a couple green onions

And sprinkle them on top

Now take 1/2 Cup of your favorite salsa

And pour it into a bowl

Add 1/2 Cup of Milk

Add 3 eggs

And wisk 'er up

Now pour on top of the cheese

Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.

Let set 10 minutes before cutting.
