Today was a special day.
Miss Addie and Gilbert got to participate in a long standing Goode tradition for the very first time.
Miss Addie and Gilbert went to the movies for the very first time.
Their first movie will forever be Disney's The Princess and the Frog
We got there really early because we wanted to get good seats. I wanted to make sure we were at the top so that if Add or Gilbert got restless she could move around without bothering the other viewers. That and my friends suggestions to make sure and get popcorn and bring Gilbert and a blanket were critical to making the afternoon a success :)
Since we were there early we did make a pit stop for Goode Racing the sequel. For those who are wondering, it ran pretty much the same as the original. That is except for Puddie's puzzlement (made up word alert) over the fact that Add actually placed this time...lol!
After the race we zoomed right over to the concession stand to get the goods.
Daddy got almonds. Mommy got Butterfinger Bites. Addie got popcorn. Gilbert got gummies.
My girl became the MASTER of popcorn enjoyment.
She LOVED the popcorn.
Daddy liked his almonds too...
Miss Add did so well. It was so fun to watch her take it all in for the first time.
She was a pro before it was all over.
Gilbert got scared a few times and needed to take a nap, but not Add-- she was all smiles the whole time.
She loved being able to get up and dance when the characters danced on screen. But there was plenty of cuddle time too :)

The movie was great. Addie gave it 5 out of 5 popcorn kernels ;)
